Brian Norris,
Surveyor Consultant

Brian Norris serves as Lead Surveyor Consultant, establishing the protocol for the GPS and Total Station mapping components of the BREA project. He oversees field survey techniques, documentation procedures and land records research. He is involved in survey reconnaissance activities and advises on other project logistics. Brian is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor with a background in Forestry and Surveying Engineering. He received his M.B.A. from Husson University, his B.S. in Surveying Engineering at the University of Maine and his A.A.S. degree for Land Surveying/Forestry from Paul Smiths College of Arts and Sciences. From 1994-2013 Brian served as Vice President and Principal at the James W. Sewall Company in Old Town, Maine and was responsible for a wide variety of geospatial engineering and mapping projects. As an independent Business Consultant and Surveying Engineer, he provides expertise in consulting and leadership in project/program management for both international and domestic projects involving land surveying, mapping, and geospatial engineering. He provides consulting for government, forestry, archaeology, energy, as well as commercial and private landowner market sectors.
